For research programs, institutions, and funders

Put the research you support to work.

The people you serve should not have to hunt through PDFs, staff pages, reports, and spreadsheets to understand the work. OpenAgData brings it into one public portfolio—with the analysis to show what happened, where it matters, and what deserves attention next.

Selected public records remain searchable. Partnerships pay for the hands-on stewardship, verification, analysis, reporting, and maintenance that turn a scattered record into something people can use.

Start with your goal

Show the people you serve what their support made possible.

See where the work happened, what it found, who supported it, and which outcomes appear across the portfolio—without rebuilding the story for every report.

Start before the sales call

See whether your organization already has a draft portfolio.

Search the directory first. If a public draft exists, you can inspect the evidence and request corrections before discussing a paid partnership.

What changes

A hub should do more than sit in a directory.

The useful version answers real questions: Where has our work happened? What themes are gaining momentum? Which funders connect to which outcomes? Where should we look more closely next?

01

People can find the work

A source-linked home brings evidence, geography, and context together so people can find and use it.

02

Leaders can show what support made possible

Dashboards and reports connect investments to places, priorities, and measured outcomes.

03

Teams can direct the next investment

Regional coverage, funding patterns, and evidence gaps become clear enough to act on.

Transparent starting points

Start with the question. Keep the price visible.

Tell us what your organization needs to understand, prove, or decide. The plans below are transparent starting points—not boxes you have to fit—and every engagement begins with a written scope.

Annual partnership fee + one-time onboarding · Prices in USD · Effective July 2026

Pricing stays public so you can judge fit before a conversation. The annual fee keeps the work current; onboarding is charged once for the historical intake, cleanup, verification, and initial configuration.

What you get

  • Everything in Research Hub Partner
  • Keep an active portfolio current with quarterly refreshes
  • Answer board and stakeholder questions with an impact dashboard
  • Map award dollars, research topics, and evidence reach by state and county
  • Show where outcomes and evidence gaps are concentrated
  • Receive quarterly snapshots that are ready to share

Custom work

Specific needs get their own scope.

Partnership fees keep the standard platform and portfolio current. When a partner needs software built, we price the build separately so one organization's request does not quietly become everyone's bill.

From $5,000

Extend an existing feature

A focused addition that builds on an existing dashboard, report, widget, or workflow.

From $7,500

Build a new platform module

A reusable capability with its own interface, data model, testing, and ongoing maintenance.

From $15,000

Integrate a private workflow

External systems, restricted data, dedicated infrastructure, additional retention, or service levels.

How the model works

Public access, paid professional work.

Reading selected public records is not the commercial product. Organizations pay when they need a portfolio organized, verified, maintained, analyzed, reported, or delivered into a decision workflow.

Public access

  • Public research discovery
  • Basic maps and hub profiles
  • Self-service research sharing
  • Public bibliographic metadata

Partners support

  • Historical portfolio ingestion
  • Metadata verification
  • Analytics and reporting
  • Ongoing maintenance and support

How it starts

No pitch deck required.

A useful first conversation can begin with a folder of publications, a spreadsheet, or simply the reporting question you keep getting asked.

01

Start with people and purpose

Who needs the work, and what should it help them understand or decide?

02

Choose the smallest useful scope

We define the portfolio, outcome, and level of stewardship before work begins.

03

Build, review, and keep improving

We organize the evidence with you and improve it from the questions people actually ask.

Paid project intake

Start with the question, not a package.

Choose the path closest to the work. We'll use your real portfolio, model, or decision to define a small first version before proposing a larger build.

All organization-specific curation, validation, analysis, delivery, and maintenance is paid. Custom work begins only after a written scope and fee are agreed.

Understand our impact

Connect projects, funding, places, people, and evidence around the impact your organization needs to understand.

Define impact around your mission

Reconcile the portfolio before scoring it

A few honest answers

Before you ask.

What is publicly accessible?+

Selected research records, maps, and hub pages can be viewed publicly. Portfolio ingestion, verification, analysis, reporting, delivery, and maintenance are paid services.

Why is onboarding separate?+

The recurring plan keeps a portfolio current and useful. Onboarding is the one-time work of gathering historical records, cleaning metadata, resolving duplicates, and configuring the standard hub or dashboard. It does not include new software development.

What if we need a feature that is not listed?+

We define it before work begins and quote it separately from the partnership. Extending an existing feature starts at $5,000; new platform modules, integrations, private workflows, dedicated infrastructure, and additional retention are scoped to the actual need.

What if we do not know which plan fits?+

That is normal. Tell us the decision or reporting problem you are trying to solve. We will recommend the smallest paid scope that can produce a useful answer.

Who owns the data?+

Partners retain ownership of the data and materials they submit. Selected public bibliographic metadata remains in the public evidence index. Confidential or restricted data requires a separate agreement.

What happens if a paid partnership ends?+

Public publication metadata stays discoverable. Partner-only dashboards, custom reporting, ongoing curation, priority processing, and support end with the paid term.
