- Email subscriptions: If you subscribe to research alerts, we store your email address and subscription preferences (state, topic, or hub).
- Research submissions: Papers you submit to the platform, including metadata such as title, authors, location, and topics.
- Usage analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, browser type, and general geographic region. This data cannot be used to identify you.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the OpenAgData platform
- To send research alert notifications you have subscribed to
- To authenticate your identity when you sign in
- To understand how the platform is used and identify improvements
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with the following service providers who help us operate the platform:
- Supabase: Database hosting and authentication
- Vercel: Application hosting and analytics
- Resend: Email delivery for subscription alerts

We use essential cookies for authentication sessions. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Subscription preferences are retained until you unsubscribe. Published research submissions remain on the platform as part of the public knowledge base.
